Lock Haven University and UPMC Susquehanna have announced a partnership that will provide important opportunities for health education to LHU students, UPMC employees and the local community.

Earlier this spring, six research teams, including one from Lock Haven University, were chosen to receive a grant through the NCAA Innovations in Research and Practice Grant Program, designed to enhance college athletes' psychosocial well-being and mental health.

The Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) at Lock Haven University is a one-stop-shop for LHU students, offering a myriad of resources and services to empower students to explore meaningful work and pursue competitive careers.

Lock Haven University students recently planted spring and summer annuals in the Lock Haven city flower gardens with the help of Rizzo's Greenhouse. The gardens were adopted by LHU President, Dr. Robert Pignatello, last fall. Students involved with the planting were Braden McSherry, Brittany Patrick, Deanna Miller, Kelly Kratzer and Ryan Schessler.

On Friday, May 3, the Lock Haven University communication program held the annual Rebecca Gross Awards Day luncheon and ceremony, celebrating distinguished student and alumni achievements in the communication program at LHU.
