The Recreation Management program at Lock Haven University held a Challenge Course Certification, in which nine students in the program and one professor participated in at the challenge course behind Zimmerli on LHU's campus.

On Sunday, October 24, the Lock Haven University Recreation Management Department sponsored a Fly Fishing demonstration on the Poorman Commons. Dr. Brian J. Wilt, expert angler and LHU recreation management professor, led a demonstration of basic fly-casting skills.

For four days in November, Lock Haven University senior, Samantha Eisenhart, provided a way for members of the LHU community to thank local veterans. This is the third year Eisenhart, a community/commercial recreation management major from Sunbury, has facilitated this service project in honor of Veterans Day.
