Jennifer Bell, associate professor of Physician Assistant (PA) Studies, and Amy Way, professor of Health Science at Lock Haven University Clearfield campus, presented the results of their research at the Global Missions Health Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, in November.
Lock Haven University's Clearfield was busy over the later part of the summer gearing-up for a new academic year. Valerie Dixon, acting director of the Clearfield campus, along with Drs. Darlene Ardary, Michael J. McSkimming, AnnJane Ross and Amy Way, began the process by participating in two virtual orientation programs hosted at the Lock Haven main campus in June.
Lock Haven University welcomed nearly 450 incoming students to campus for in-person orientation events during July - with even more attending virtually and at the LHU Clearfield.
During the fall 2020 semester, recognizing the possibility of unspoken food insecurities among university students, the Lock Haven University Clearfield campus opened a food pantry to meet the needs of those students.
