Lock Haven University recently held three art showcase workshops at the art annex building on campus.

A Freestanding Figurative and/or Relief Geometric Wood and Paper Sculpture Workshop will be held from 6-8 p.m. each evening from Saturday, July 31 through Wednesday, Aug. 4.

Lock Haven University will present the exhibit, 150 Years of the Arts at Lock Haven University at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at the Poorman Gallery, 352 E. Water St., Lock Haven. Coordinated by LHU student, Shatana Griffin, the exhibit is sponsored by the LHU Stevenson Library Archives, the Department of Visual and Performing Arts and the Student Cooperative Council.

Lock Haven University freshman Sarah Rowles, of Mifflintown, participated in the 73rd Annual PA Intercollegiate Band Festival hosted by California University earlier this year.
