Information Technology at Lock Haven University is comprised of two components, the Department of Technology Infrastructure and the Office of Institutional Systems and Reporting.

The Department of Technology Infrastructure

The Department of Technology Infrastructure is responsible for maintaining all core infrastructure such as servers (such as web, email, file and print servers), network and telecommunications equipment and services.  The department also provides software and hardware support to faculty and staff, and operates the Student Technology Support Center.  Additionally, the department operates five general use computer labs as well as the TV Studio on the 6th floor of Robinson Hall, in addition to providing audio/visual support for major campus events.  

The Office of Institutional Systems and Reporting

The Office of Institutional Systems and Reporting manages administrative and academic information systems including the Jenzabar/CARS student information system, the Blackboard transactional system, and several other ancillary information systems related to housing, enrollment management, student accounts and admissions as well as administering the D2L online learning environment.  This office also handles all institutional research and reporting data requests.
