You can review information on websites such as: Better Business Bureau, Glassdoor, Hoovers, Ripoff Report, etc.  

Red flags should go up when:  

  1. They ask you to provide login information from any other location that you use (LHU account, Facebook, etc.).
  2. They ask you to provide account information (checking, savings, etc.).  Or use your account to hold/transfer money from.
  3. They ask you to provide a photo.
  4. The job posting shows that the job pays a large salary for almost no work.
