How to Apply:

1 . Online Application

Start your application by creating a new account. As a first-year student you should choose “First-Year Applicant” when prompted.

We reccomend using a personal email address rather than a school-issued account when possible.

Be sure to apply by December 15 of your senior year to guarantee scholarship eligibility

$35 Application Fee waivers available for students receiving free or reduced lunch, NACAC waivers, school counselor referral, or by visiting campus. Please contact your admissions counselor directly with any questions.

2 .  Submit Transcripts

We can review your application using unofficial transcripts but will need an official copy sent directly from your high school in order for it to be considered official.

Ask your guidance office to send us an official paper or electronic copy of your high school transcript.

Paper transcripts can be sent to:
Lock Haven Admissions

3 .  Submit SAT/ACT/AP Scores

Note: Lock Haven is test-optional*

*SAT or ACT test scores are still required the Accelerated (3+2) Physician Assistant program - those seeking admission to this program will need to apply and be admitted to the Health Science: Pre-Physician Assistant track before November 1st to be considered for the accelerated pathway.
**Nursing applicants are required to submit a TEAS exam score - deadlines listed on the Nursing department webpage.

An SAT or ACT test will not be required to complete your application. All applicants who submit a high school transcript will receive full consideration for admission and scholarships.

Applicants will not be penalized or otherwise disadvantaged if they do not submit and standardized test score with their admissions application. When reviewing applications for competitive programs, we will consider the rigor of the courses taken, including AP, honors, and dual enrollment course work.

Scores should be sent directly through College Board but can also be sent directly from your school counselor to our office via email or printed directly on your transcript.

4 . Check Your Status

You can check your admission status by logging in to your personalized Application Portal using the personal email address and password created when you originally applied.
