Sibiski named to Academic All-District Men’s Soccer Team

Sophomore Beckham Sibiski (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown) of the Lock Haven University men's soccer team has been selected to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District®. The team is selected by CoSIDA.
 
Sibiski was one of 12 players selected to the NCAA Division II District 2 Team. District 2 is comprised of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), the Mountain East Conference (MEC) and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
 
Recently, Sibiski was named to the 2018 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Second Team. He led Lock Haven in goals with eight. Sibiski started all 17 games for LHU and he added five assists for a team-best 21 points.
 
The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's Soccer Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First, second and third-team (if necessary) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
 
The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes 'listed/linked above' and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
 
The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA Google Cloud Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
