LHU Senior Business Reception to Offer Students Networking Opportunities

Lock Haven University’s Business Administration and Accounting Advisory Board will hold a Senior Reception on Friday, March 24, 2017, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center, Poorman Ballroom, at Lock Haven University for students enrolled in the Senior Capstone Course. Local business persons are encouraged to attend and network with students enrolled in the senior capstone course.

The reception provides an opportunity for senior students to network with local business persons and apply interpersonal and social skills needed for this type of business setting.  The Advisory Board believes strongly that this course component provides a valuable learning opportunity that many students are not afforded during their academic careers and will improve their confidence, skill, and ability to interact comfortably in a professional networking environment. Refreshments will be provided during this time, but alcohol will not be served at this student event.
