Lock Haven University will hold the last Astronomical Fridays event of the spring semester at 8 p.m. Friday, April 20. Participants will observe the moon, planets, stars, star clusters, stellar nurseries, stellar corpses, and galaxies through the university’s 12-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope.

This will be the final Astronomical Friday of the semester. The observing session will take place at the Stern Athletic Complex along Farrandsville road or, if snow makes the field inaccessible, at Jack Stadium. The complex is 1.1 miles above the Jay Street Bridge on the northeast side of the river, adjacent to the West Branch Soccer Fields.
