The three alumni speakers will be David McCurdy, Katie Merritt and Ayanda McGill- Jefferson. McCurdy graduated from LHU in 2018 and is now working at the Milton Hershey School in Hershey as a transitional living assistant.
Merritt graduated from LHU in 2018 and is an executive advisor for the Pennsylvania Department of Health. She has master’s degree in social work and is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is passionate about helping vulnerable populations through advocacy and policy.
McGill-Jefferson graduated from LHU in 2019 and is employed by Lancaster County Children and Youth as a caseworker in the Permanency Department. While working at Children and Youth, she is pursuing a master’s degree in social work at Millersville University.
The virtual event is free and open to the public. High school students and their parents would also benefit from attending this event.
