LHU Psychology Club to host 3rd annual Walk for Mental Health Awareness
The Lock Haven University Psychology Club will host the third annual Walk for Mental
Health Awareness at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25. The walk will begin on the levee
Riverwalk near the LHU tennis courts and end at the Poorman Commons in the pavilions
along Ivy Lane on the campus of LHU.
The event will feature posters featuring information about mental health, lining the
levee path, as well as free food, games and professor “pie-ing” on the Poorman Commons.
Early registration will be available from 12:30-2 p.m. April 19 and April 22-24 on
the third floor hallway of Robinson Hall on campus. Early registration is $3 per person
or registration plus a sticker or bracelet for $5. Registration the day of the event
also will be available starting at 5 p.m. on the levee for $5 per person.
All proceeds will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
