ATTENTION EMPLOYERS - Applications are now available for the 2020-2021 Workforce and Economic Development Network (WEDnet) training grant program.
You may apply directly on-line at - click on “Apply Today”.

WEDnetPA (Workforce & Economic Development Network of Pennsylvania) invests in Pennsylvania companies by providing the funds needed to upgrade the skills, education and training of their current employees.  WEDnet is a valuable resource to companies struggling to find new workers.  We can help advance existing, hard-working employees into qualified candidates capable of performing at a higher level.

  • By expanding skill sets.
  • Teaching new technology.
  • Creating a more productive environment.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has created the opportunity for employers to train new and existing employees through the WEDnetPA program. Training is available to qualified in-state businesses and out-of-state companies relocating to the economic-friendly business climate of Pennsylvania — with funding accessed through WEDnetPA and made available by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).

Companies can apply online and select any WEDnetPA partner — including State System universities, community colleges and other educational providers. Through the program, your company can benefit from a wide range of training that will put your employees on the path to higher performance.

Lock Haven University has been a WEDnetPA Partner since the program began in 1999.  To date, LHU has provided more than $5.3M in training funds to eligible companies.  These funds have resulted in nearly 50,000 training and skill building opportunities provided to the Commonwealth’s workforce
