The Haven Magazine 

The Haven Magazine is published biannually by the Lock Haven University Office of University Relations in partnership with the Lock Haven University Foundation, free of charge, for alumni, supporters, and friends of Lock Haven University. The magazine aims to support, enhance, and advance the University’s image with its target audiences by publishing news and stories about LHU alumni, students, faculty, and stakeholders. The magazine’s feature stories intend to motivate, inspire, and inform readers about issues relevant to LHU through content that is both entertaining and intellectually engaging.

Doug Oliver '98, tells his story of his experiences at the Milton Hershey School, how he transitioned to success in the classroom and on the basketball court at LHU, and how taking advantage of opportunities led him to his success today.

Alumae Barb Nichols '84, Annette Cole-Gill '86, and Fonati Ward Abrowka '06, all work at the Milton Hershey School today.  They share their experiences and how important it is to create opportunities for others.

Going Pro: Three Bald Eagles Enter Professional Baseball Ranks

For the LHU baseball program, the summer of 2017 will go down as a special one as three former Bald Eagles reached the professional ranks.

The trio of Nick Hornbaker, Jacob Belinda, and Mike Anthony, all pitchers, capped off a historic 2017 LHU season with them all realizing their dream of playing in the pros.
