As Lock Haven University's chief academic officer, Interim Provost Dr. Stephen Neun strives to create a campus atmosphere that supports the principles of shared governance, academic freedom and excellence. In that capacity, she oversees the operations of every office relating to the University's academic mission, from the recruitment of prospective students through graduation.
Working closely with Interim President Wilson, senior administrators, deans, department chairs and faculty governance committees, Dr. Neun provides leadership, oversight and general direction in developing and implementing academic strategic goals. The Provost and his office also enhance the efforts of the faculty by supporting excellence in teaching, engaged scholarship, and meaningful service to the university's three colleges – Liberal Arts and Education; Natural, Behavioral and Health Sciences; and Business, Information Systems and Human Services.
Lock Haven University offers more than 60 degree programs at our main and Clearfield, PA campuses. The programs are at the associate, baccalaureate, and master degree levels. The university also offers a host of courses and degrees via distance learning.
