When Lock Haven University welcomes students back to campus in spring 2019, some may have their four-legged companions in tow. The university will be the first in the Pennsylvania's State System to introduce a pet-friendly residence hall.

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Lock Haven University nursing honor society, Epsilon Upsilon, held its first service project on October 25.

The Lock Haven University Community Service Office hosted its annual Hunger Bowl competition from October 15 to November 16.

On October 25, Lock Haven University hosted its 21st annual LHU Employee Health and Wellness Fair in Rogers Gymnasium. Each year, LHU employees head to the Health Fair to learn new information about health, wellness and meet with healthcare professionals.

Lock Haven University President, Robert Pignatello, sang more than 40 soft-rock classics at the Broke Axe Brew House in Lock Haven on Friday, November 16, helping to raise more than $6,000 for the university's Student Retention Fund.
