Lock Haven University and UPMC Susquehanna have announced a partnership that will provide important opportunities for health education to LHU students, UPMC employees and the local community.

To recognize outstanding students, the Pennsylvania Association of TRIO Programs awards scholarships to deserving students yearly. This year, $9,750 was awarded to 13 recipients.

University Players, the Lock Haven University student theater organization, will present the Mainstage Theatre Production, "Almost, Maine," at 7:30 p.m. November 8, 10, 15 and 17 and at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 10.

The Communication Department and the Center for Career and Professional Development at Lock Haven University recently hosted Fred Coon, employment expert and best-selling author, on October 24 in the Parsons Union Building.

The University Players, the Lock Haven University student theater organization, will host a Halloween karaoke fundraiser from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, November 3 at Avenue 209, 209 Bellefonte Ave, Lock Haven.
