When Lock Haven University welcomes students back to campus in spring 2019, some may have their four-legged companions in tow. The university will be the first in the Pennsylvania's State System to introduce a pet-friendly residence hall.

Lock Haven University now has a pre-pharmacy affiliation with Duquesne University School of Pharmacy. The affiliation is a three-plus-four-year program for up to four students per year. The students will complete three years of an approved program of study at LHU and begin a four-year program of pharmacy at Duquesne University.

Raly for Recovery

On October 6, Advocates for a Drug Free Tomorrow hosted a Rally for Recovery to promote awareness and raise money for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. This was the third year that the Rally for Recovery was held at Riverview Park in Lock Haven.

The Lock Haven University Testing Center will conduct two more Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) General Tests during the fall semester. The next testing sessions will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, October 25 and Monday, October 29 in the Testing Center.
