Panel Discussion: 'Celebrating 100 Years of Women's Suffrage in the United States'

The event, celebrating 100 years of women’s suffrage in the United States, is free and open to the public and will be co-hosted by the President’s Commission on the Status of Women; the Department of History, Political Science, International Studies and Foreign Languages; and the HOPE Center.


The panel will include Janet Irons, professor of history at LHU; Sara Grove, professor of political science at Shippensburg University; and Jennifer Grab, board member for Women for the Future of Pittsburgh. Stan Berard, professor of political science at LHU will be the moderator.


The mixer will include hors d’oeuvres, which will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the panel discussion will begin at 6:30 p.m. Attendees who plan to attend the mixer, should RSVP by Monday, September 2 at
