Our main mode of communication on campus is email. As an LHU student, you will recieve all official student related correspondence through your LHU email account. Please be sure to setup your email and check it often. You are able to setup your LHU email on your phone and personal computers.
The IT (Information Technology) Department has developed the following New Student Technology Handbook (PDF) that serves as a great reference for accessing LHU email accounts, changing passwords, using the computers and printers on campus, accessing wireless on campus, and other technology related issues you may encounter.
Our campus newspaper, the Eagle Eye, has a modern computer production facility that includes a desktop graphics and text scanner, digital photography, web interface, and the software programs most widely used in commercial newspapers. Students may earn a staff position on the newspaper in their first year at the university.
Sign up for Text Alerts! LHU has student text alerts for Academic Reminders and for Emergency Alerts. You can sign up for these text alerts through the e2Campus system. This is a voluntary enrollment service that sends text messages in the event of a campus delay, closing or emergency. Academic alerts are sent to students as a reminder of important dates regarding academic and student affairs. To enroll, you must use your LHU Domain1\username and email login to sign up here.
