LHU to present Craig and Marilyn Willis Distinguished Lecture

Lock Haven University will present the second annual Craig and Marilyn Willis Distinguished Lecture at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 23 in the Willis Health Professions Center, room 105, Greenberg Auditorium on the campus of LHU. James K. Hashimoto ATC, MPT, head athletic trainer for the U.S. men’s national soccer team and ’89 LHU alumnus, will speak on the topic of, “Perspectives of Athletic Training and Physical Therapy: Lessons from the U.S. and Abroad.”

Hashimoto is the owner and partner of Elite Physical Therapy LLC, a practice with multiple locations that specializes in orthopedic and sports manual physical therapy and is a consultant for professional athletes in a variety of sports.

He also has held positions of consultant, head athletic trainer and physiotherapist for the Saudi Arabian World Cup soccer team; athletic trainer for the U.S. women’s and youth national soccer teams; physical therapist and athletic trainer for Schweizer’s Therapy and Rehabilitation and for The Center for Sports Physical Therapy; physical therapist for The Johns Hopkins Hospital; and athletic trainer for Abington Sports Medicine.
