The Lock Haven University Alumni Office held its 3nd annual TAG Day event on Wednesday, April 26th. The event, held outside Bentley Dining Hall, boasted a large crowd of students from its start at 11a.m. that continued well into the day up until the event concluded at 6 p.m. Individuals from all areas of the university stopped by the tables to write notes of thanks to LHU supporters and donors. The alumni office offered prizes and food to students who took time to write cards. Over 2,000 cards were written for LHU contributors.
Director of Alumni Relations Ashley Koser shared, “Our 3rd annual TAG Day was a huge success. Students now recognize the event and it is becoming a tradition. Our campus community loves thanking our donors for supporting them, and in turn our donors love hearing from The Haven. This is a fun event all around and one that we will continue year after year.” Koser said “We had students, faculty, staff and coaches participate this year to supporting this event. It is wonderful to see the campus community come together and say thank you to those who have invested in the future of our institution.”
First year student Erica Landis said, “Our donors show us so much support and I think it’s important to say thank you and let them know how appreciative we are.” Sophomore Elijah McBride shared his thoughts about TAG Day, “LHU donors and supporters go out of their way to do something for us and our University; it’s the least we can do to take time and thank them”
