During January and February 2017, high schools across Pennsylvania will host localized competitions for their respective schools. The winners of these competitions will compete at Lock Haven University on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the Parson Union Building Multi-Purpose Room at 10:30 AM until approximately 12:00 PM for the title of ESU Central PA Region Finalist. After the event, students and their families and coaches, ESU chapter board members, and judges will be treated to a luncheon in Bentley.

The winner of the ESU Branch Competition will be awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City for National Competition, regularly held at the world-renowned performing arts complex, Lincoln Center. The ESU National Headquarters also provides this student with two full days of educational and cultural activities. Past activities have included Broadway shows, acting workshops and visits to the William Shakespeare statue in Central Park.
Please consider witnessing talented young adults from across Pennsylvania share their passion for Shakespeare and their talents by attending the competition in Price Auditorium on Saturday, February 18, 2017. All are welcome to attend this free event.
