Lock Haven University Phi Kappa Phi inducts 34 students

The Lock Haven University chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society recently inducted 34 new students. The ceremony was held on Friday, April 6 in the Greenberg Auditorium in the Willis Health Professions Center on the LHU campus.

Dr. Jeanine Page conducted the initiation ceremony and was assisted by Dr. Ralph Harnishfeger, who handed out certificates and pins and Dr. Loretta Dickson, who presented a portion of the program. Fourteen of the students with their families were in attendance.

“This has always been one of the highlights of the year for me,” Page said. “These are our most elite students, and it is an honor to see them recognized for their achievements.”

The following students officially were welcomed into this invitation-only honor society:

  • Erica Berkowitz – Physician assistant senior
  • Jessica Bross – Biology junior
  • Elizabeth Burd – Health sciences junior

  • Theresa Hill – Education-Spanish, mental health counseling graduate

  • Alison Jochen – Nursing, education graduate
