LHU Jazz Ensemble & Choir Perform at Lunchtime Concert

More than 50 members of the Clearfield Community Lifelong Learning Institute (CCLLI) attended a lunchtime concert performed by the LHU jazz ensemble and choir on Thursday, April 12. The jazz ensemble played a variety of jazz standards and jazz rock tunes including compositions by Herbie Hancock, Sonny Rollins and Freddie Hubbard. The choir presented a variety of tunes, such as the James Bond Theme song, “Route 66”, and “Coney Island” as well as a mixture of spirituals, “Old Time Religion Medley.”

The CCLLI has seminars scheduled through June.

The CCLLI is a partnership between the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging and LHU Clearfield.
