LHU Choir

The Lock Haven University Choir recently held an evening Jazz & Pop concert at Lock Haven’s Station Gallery. The event was a collaboration between Lock Haven University and the Clinton County Arts Council. Musicians from across the University came together to delight the audience in the packed Station Gallery. The evening featured jazz and pop solos and choir numbers including traditional favorites “Blue Skies,” “Cheek to Cheek,” and “Puttin’ on the Ritz.”

Several New York City based musicians, including guitarist Jesse Choy and drummer Peter Manheim, accompanied the choir which is directed by Dr. Julie Park. LHU Provost, Dr. Donna Wilson shared that the event was a wonderful community collaboration demonstrated in many ways by the enthusiastic audience response the performances generated.
