LHU Community Days presents Haven Holidays

Lock Haven University, Downtown Lock Haven, the Clinton County Economic Partnership, and Keystone Central School District will present Haven Holidays – a community-wide family weekend on December 1-3. Events over the course of the weekend will take place on the campus of Lock Haven University, Downtown Lock Haven, and Central Mountain Middle School.

Visit Lock Haven University on Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday Dec. 2 for a campus tour, and sign up for a free community library card. Discounts will be available both days at the LHU Bookstore and campus locations of Chick-fil-A and Starbucks.

At 7 p.m. Friday, December 1, cheer on the LHU Bald Eagle wrestlers as they host Rutgers in their first home dual of the season in the Thomas Fieldhouse. This is a WHITEOUT! Attendees should wear white to support The Haven. Also at 7 p.m. on the same night, there will be a winter choral concert in the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center and a tree lighting ceremony at Triangle Park.

Activities scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2 include kids’ activities, LHU men’s and women’s basketball will host Slippery Rock, a viewing of the movie Elf on the big screen in Price Auditorium, a Santa Fun Run 5K run/walk, Downtown Lock Haven Parade, and a visit from Santa Claus.

On Sunday, December 3, Central Mountain Middle School will host 12 Days of Christmas at Santa’s Workshop from 1-4 p.m.
