Gregory L. Thompson, a student in the Lock Haven University Communication Program, has won the Excellence in Communication Award. This award, given to non-media Communication senior with the highest grade point average, comes with a $250 scholarship.
Thompson, who has dual majors in Professional Communication and Spanish as well as a minor in Business, is a native of Cooperstown, PA. While going to college full time, he has worked at Vector Marketing in Whitehall and Dunkin’ Donuts in Cooperstown. In addition to serving as a Spanish tutor at LHU, he works as a student manager for the university’s foundation office. Thompson has been on the Dean’s List at Lock Haven University three times.
