In February, the Lock Haven University Criminal Justice Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma, and professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, hosted a Bit of Fit-A-Thon fundraiser in the Student Recreation Center. The event included door prizes and fitness classes including HITT, Core Fitness, Zumba, UrbanKick, Dance Fitness, ROTC-led exercises, and others. LHU students, faculty, and alumni led the fitness segments including the Lock Haven ROTC cadets; Katie Ely, associate professor of Criminal Justice; Cori Myers, ’91 alumna and professor of management; Lori Hoy, ’01 alumna; and other local instructors. The event raised $250 to benefit the Clinton County Women’s Center. Shown, from left, are Amanda Herr, Alpha Phi Sigma member; Julie Peters, CCWC; Dr. Katie Ely, chair of Criminal Justice Department; and Dr. Cori Myers, chair of Business and Computer Science Department.
