Dr. Julie Junghwa Park, assistant professor and director of choral activities at Lock Haven University, will perform three concerts this month in New York City.
The first performance will be a solo recital with Eric Sedgwick on piano, will held at 8 p.m. Thursday, September 13 in the Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, 881 Seventh Ave. Park will perform works by J.S. Bach, C. Schumann, F. Liszt, L. Ronald, and P. Tosti. Tickets range from $20-$100 and are available at Carnegiehall.org.
The second performance, “Opera Aria Night,” with the Classical Note Philharmonic Orchestra, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 26 at The Dimenna Center, 450 W. 37th St.
The third performance, “Art Song Night,” also with the Classical Note Philharmonic Orchestra, will be held in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center, 111 Amsterdam Ave.
