To celebrate National Athletic Training Month (NATM) in March, Lock Haven University athletic training students participated in several events.
On March 1, in conjunction with Stony Brook University, students visited Good Morning America in New York City. On March 18, students made a hike to Harrisburg, in conjunction with the PA Athletic Trainers’ Society and March 22 and 23, students attended the PATS (PA Athletic Trainers Society) student symposium at Lebanon Valley College in Annville. Students also participated in the Facebook challenge internship picture contest, where second-year professional athletic training students who were on their immersive clinical internship, submitted entries to be voted on by undergraduates, first-year graduates and alumni – online throughout the month of March.
