During the summer, Aleshia Robinson, a senior communication major with a concentration in advertising and management at Lock Haven University, completed an internship with the Williamsport Crosscutters minor league baseball team.
Her internship duties in Ticket Sales and Community Life, included assisting in tickets sales, working the front gate taking tickets, and handing out promotions during the games. Robinson’s internship also had her chaperoning the players to their appearances at various day camps, senior homes, and schools throughout the community.
Robinson said her favorite part about her internship was the people she had the opportunity to meet. “I made some great friends at the Crosscutters,” she said. “I feel that my internship will help me in my future career goals, because it really helped put into perspective what type of company I would like to work for in the future.”
The Williamsport Crosscutters play their home games at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport.
