A painting art exhibit featuring the work of artist Benjamin Lowery will be held Monday, September 24 through Monday, October 29 in the Sloan Fine Arts Gallery on the campus of Lock Haven University. An opening reception and artist talk will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. September 24.
Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Lowery has a master’s degree in painting from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dallas. He also studied at the Mount Gretna School of Art and the Jerusalem Studio School. He has been exhibited nationally in New York City, Pennsylvania, Indianapolis, and Dallas. Lowery lives and works in Lancaster.
