Lock Haven University and UPMC Susquehanna have announced a partnership that will provide important opportunities for health education to LHU students, UPMC employees and the local community.

The Lock Haven University environmental studies program, the Environmental Club and the Global Honors Program will host the talk, "War and Nature" by professor, Edmund Russell, from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24 in Robinson Learning Center, Hall of Flags room 115, on the campus of LHU.

Lock Haven University will present the third annual Craig and Marilyn Willis Distinguished Lecture at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23 in the Willis Health Professions Building, room 105, Greenberg Auditorium on the campus of LHU. Kathleen M. Gillespie, chief executive officer of the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging (CCAAA), will speak on the topic of, "MAGIC in Response to the Alzheimer's Epidemic."

The Lock Haven University Psychology Club will host the third annual Walk for Mental Health Awareness at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25. The walk will begin on the levee Riverwalk near the LHU tennis courts and end at the Poorman Commons in the pavilions along Ivy Lane on the campus of LHU.

Lock Haven University's Department of Special Education and Council for Exceptional Children student group will host the 18th annual Kent's Fest celebration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 26 in the East Campus Gymnasium on the campus of LHU.
