When Lock Haven University welcomes students back to campus in spring 2019, some may have their four-legged companions in tow. The university will be the first in the Pennsylvania's State System to introduce a pet-friendly residence hall.

Lock Haven University will host a senior reception for students in the business and accounting programs from 5-6:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 in the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center Poorman Ballroom on the campus of LHU.

This academic year, the Stephen Poorman College of Business, Information Systems and Human Services at Lock Haven University has announced the introduction of a minor in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Lock Haven University will hold a juried student show art exhibit from March 25 through April 19 in the John Sloan Fine Arts Gallery on the campus of LHU. A reception will be held from 6-7 p.m. March 27 and artwork will be on display for free public viewing from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.

As part of Lock Haven University's Pennsylvania Authors Reading Series, essayist and poet Kristin Kovacic, of Carlow University, and fiction writer, essayist, screenwriter and poet Jim Daniels, of Carnegie Mellon University, will give a reading and sign books at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 in the Parsons Union Building (PUB) Multipurpose Room on the campus of LHU.
