When Lock Haven University welcomes students back to campus in spring 2019, some may have their four-legged companions in tow. The university will be the first in the Pennsylvania's State System to introduce a pet-friendly residence hall.

Lock Haven University will host an open house on Saturday, November 10. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Student Recreation Center. Prospective students are encouraged to attend and learn more about what LHU has to offer.

Lock Haven University will host the fourth annual Military and Veterans' Benefits Expo from 2-6 p.m. Thursday, November 8, in the Student Recreation Center on the campus of LHU. More than 25 exhibitors will be in attendance. The expo is free and open to the public.

Lock Haven University will host a "Giving Thanks" dinner for veterans at 5 p.m. Monday, November 19 at the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center (DACC) on the campus of LHU.

To recognize outstanding students, the Pennsylvania Association of TRIO Programs awards scholarships to deserving students yearly. This year, $9,750 was awarded to 13 recipients.
